I regret that I didn't see the board knowledge of decoration and cabinet making earlier!

As for the plate, the most important issue that everyone cares about, besides the price, must be environmental protection.

From the perspective of glue consumption, in theory: solid wood finger board < wood board < multilayer board < particle board ≈ density board. However, the specific brand is not considered. You don't know the quality of the glue they use. For example, the production requirement of blockboard is much smaller than that of particle board, which leads to that many small factories can make blockboard, which may be much worse than that of big brand particle board in terms of environmental protection. Personally, I think we should try our best to choose large brand plates. The higher the environmental protection level, the better.

If you have high requirements for environmental protection and can find reliable carpenters, you can use solid wood directly. Solid wood can be selected from oak, white wax wood and so on. Go to the wood market and buy according to the cube. Let reliable carpenters make cabinets. It is better to use tenon and mortise structures. After finishing, the surface is coated with wood wax oil to show the original texture of wood. If the price of solid wood is too high, it can be replaced by solid wood finger joint plate.

Personal comment: In addition to the cost of this scheme, it is difficult to find a good carpenter. Wood wax oil or wood paint is basically selected for the surface of solid wood. If you use paint again, you feel that the material is wasted.

If there is a reliable designer at home, it is also good to use ecological boards (melamine boards with large core boards as core materials) to make cabinets. The door panels can be determined externally. If solid wood particle board is used, it is better to take the machine to seal the edge. After all, manual edge sealing is not as good as the machine.

When woodworking is used to make cabinets and doors are set outside, one thing should be paid special attention to is the matching of the color of the cabinet board and the color of the door board. Even if the same white color is used, there may be color difference.

Personal comments: This may be the best plan with ordinary economic conditions, but the design must be based on the experience of carpenters. Most of the designs are based on cups, so if the requirements for practicality and beauty are high, there must be a reliable designer behind the support.
